The machining on this thing is flawless—you can feel the solid stainless steel the moment you pick it up, and knowing there are zero parts to loosen or lose is a huge relief. It’s a hefty little tool that feels like it was built to last a century, which is exactly the vibe I was hoping for.

I was a little nervous about how aggressive a solid steel razor would feel, but the single-piece construction makes it remarkably stable and precise in hand. The weight does most of the work, and the lather catcher design gives a surprisingly smooth, close shave once you find the angle.
