Blackbird baseplate

Finally a base plate that sits perfectly flush with the top cap, no wobble or play at all once tightened. The stainless steel surface has a nice matte finish that doesn't show fingerprints like my old one did.

The stainless base sits rock-solid with the top cap and handle—no wobble or play at all when I tighten it down. I swapped out my old plate and the difference in stability is immediately noticeable.

The machining on this stainless steel base plate is flawless—it seats perfectly against my Blackbird top cap with zero wobble. I’ve mounted and unmounted it a few times now, and the fit stays just as snug as the first day. Solid piece of kit.
